(walking through the snow while sledding)
Her: “Hey, this is like the Long March!”
Me: (exasperated sigh) “Yes, exactly the same.”
(while downhill skiing)
Her: “Ugh! It is so difficult! My skiis are like an eight!”
Me: “What? How can they be like an…oh…you mean a Chinese eight?”
Her: “Of course!”
Me: (exasperated sigh)
