My Bad China Day
Yes, I’m having a “Bad China Day” or a “China Moment” or whatever one wants to call it.
Someone stole my electric scooter’s battery while I was in class today. Then, pedaling the heavy thing back to my dorm, I was thrown off it when it slipped out from underneath me while coasting down the ramp onto the idiotically-designed tile and polished-granite parking lot in front of my dorm.
Later in the day, I gave my teacher a tired smile during our dictation test when she said “今天倒霉得很” (today has been bad luck). Having explained my situation to her, she smiled back and repeated, “David 今天倒霉得很.”
Indeed.
That sucks. Where’s TTC when you need it!
