Fear of Flying

I sincerely hope this is not the man who will be piloting my trans-Pacific flight. Watch the video past the halfway point, that’s where it gets doubly ridiculous.

Thanks to Fark for this find.

  1. Interesting video. It’s too bad that it is so long. I’m still left wondering how and why the engine fired up again. The other strange thing about the video is that the guy narrating is really calm. I’d expect a little more exceitment ouf of somebody seeing something like this.

From my travel experience I’d say US domestic flights are far scarier than internation and China domestic \flights. Every flight I’ve ever been on where I’ve been forced to grip the seat in terror was within the US. Each internation flight I’ve taken was textbook perfect.

  2. That’s certainly not something you see everyday. Did they forget to turn off the engine? It might have made sense to do so… just in case. :-)
