China’s None-Child Policy

Here’s the most adorably innocent news I’ve heard out of China in a while. From an excerpt of Yahoo! News, China hospital defends posting erotic book online:

…Zong said the hospital offered treatment for sexually transmitted diseases and gynaecological services, but specialised in tackling sexual problems, both physical and mental, that led to infertility.

He cited the example of a couple who had complained about not having a child a year into their marriage. It turned out they did not know how to have sex and that the wife was still a virgin when they came to the hospital.

How China reached a population of 1.3 billion I’ll never know.

  1. Yeah, Chinese people are too shy to talk about sex openly.
To be honest, i didn’t know that until i went to the university. One of my close friend told me that. But the problem is how were you supposed to know if no one tell you about that? No education, no talking…nothing…
I think at least there should be kinda of education in the school, maybe that’s because of the traditional thinking about shame. I don’t know.

  2. I think these folks were a trout short of a stringer…

One of my students told me that Westerners talk about it and don’t do it and Chinese do it and don’t talk about it….

New way around the one-kid policy: LOTS of fertility medicine being injected lately….

  3. I get your drift. More of a “One-Pregnancy Policy” now, eh?
